You are the inspiration that my heart feels. Through you, I have learned the true meaning of resilience, patience, and unconditional love. You have taught me that even through life's hardest moments, there is still so much beauty, joy, and love to be found.
Because of you, I was inspired to give back to my community and to help others in the way you have helped shape me. Every piece of this journey carries a little bit of your spirit and the love you have given me.

Out of a pile of applications, you chose me to be Stewie's mama, and it is a day I will never forget, because it was on Valentine's Day. Somehow, from the words I wrote on a piece of paper, you saw something in my heart. You trusted me with his life, his love, and his future, and you gave me the greatest gift I could have ever received: the chance to love him.
Over the years, Limbo Chihuahua Rescue has become so much more than a rescue organization. You have become a part of my family, and that means more to me than I could ever put into words.
Thank you for becoming a part of our fur-ever story.
Also thank you for introducing me to Julianne, Stewie's foster mom, who has become a close friend and a very important person in mine and my dogs lives.

When I knew nothing about organizing my first event, you gently guided me, believed in me, and then gave me the courage to try with so much care.
The moment you hugged me after that first event and said,
"Breck, you made a difference today", is not thought upon lightly.
Those five seconds changed something in me. They brought my heart alive. It lit a fire inside of me and made me realize this was about so much more than one event. This was my purpose. This was my nonprofit.
Thank you for "seeing" me when we barely knew each other, believing in my purpose, and knowing something great inside of me was about to over pour.
Your words today continue to fuel my heart and my passion. Your encouragement and kindness makes my heart feel full every single time.
